    Business units

    SETUP -> Business units

    The heirarchy of business units represents your organisation structure.

    • Description
    • Code - optional.
    • Level of detail - may be used on reports to roll up values for units with a greater level of detail than is desired for the report.
    • Parent - the parent or higher level group business unit.
    • Active? - untick if no longer used which will hide in lookup lists.
    • Requires split? - when entering invoices in FINANCIAL -> Payables, if you tick this field, you can split the invoice amount for this business unit using various criteria.
    Tip

    The order up business units (within their parent) can be changed using the up/down arrows in the list.
